Elemental Showdown - DevLog #2


With time running out for the due date of the prototype, we're temporarily shifting from adding multiplayer functionality to working purely on Singleplayer with AI enemies to showcase what the game will be, and also have the framework for solo play option down the road.

This doesn't mean we're scrapping Multiplayer for Elemental Showdown, but with the limited experience and the tight deadline it makes more sense at the moment to get something out.

With that, here are the changes:

  • Removed starting of Server from Main Menu
  • Removed multiple player cards from Character Select screen
  • Changed all behaviour back to Monobehaviour from Networkbehaviour
  • Added Enemy AI to duel against and compete with objectives
  • Added spellcasting foundation
